UBC Language Sciences members make list of top scientists in the world

A huge congratulations to the many UBC Language Sciences members being recognized as some of the top scientists in the world!

Stanford University has recently published a list representing the top two percent of the world’s most-cited scientists in various disciplines, with many UBC Language Sciences members being recognized.

The Stanford ranking is based on the bibliometric information contained in the Scopus database which includes more than 180,000 researchers. The scientists were classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. Read more about Stanford University’s list of top scientists here.
