Research Themes:  Language, Sustainability and Transnationalism

Sonam Chusang is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia.

Sonam has has been teaching Tibetan to the students of heritage and non heritage background for the past 15 years, and taught Tibetan at the University of Virginia in 2007 as well.

Sonam is fluent in Central Tibetan and Amdo Tibetan.
