Research Themes: Evolving Language in an Information Economy, The Communicating Mind and Body
I'm a PhD student in the Linguistics department with Dr. Molly Babel. My research focuses on phonetic variation in bilingual speech, for production, comprehension, and the link between them. I'm curious about how sounds are represented mentally, especially when there are multiple languages to consider. I’m also interested in speech technology, and industry applications for my research.
