Research Themes: Language, Sustainability and Transnationalism, The Communicating Mind and Body
Tutku is currently a Ph.D. student in Psychological Science at the University of British Columbia, working under the supervision of Dr. Elena Nicoladis. She holds a master's degree in Psychology from Sabancı University. Her research interest mainly focuses on the interaction between language, culture, and cognition. So far, she has been conducting research on second language learning as well as the effect of language and culture on cognitive processes including object conceptualization, memory, and deception.
