Research Themes: The Communicating Mind and Body
Deb is a graduate research student under the supervision of Prof. Sidney Fels. He is currently working with the Brain-to-Speech research team in Human Communication Technologies Lab.
Deb is currently building a physics-based computational model of the human vocal tract. His goal is to design an articulatory speech synthesizer that could simulate the synthetic voice in real-time. His research interest lies in the computational aeroacoustic analysis of human speech anatomy to musical instruments.
Outside of research, he loves long-distance running and street photography.
Research Interests: Articulatory Speech Synthesis, Computational aeroacoustic, Numerical analysis
