I am a Ph.D. student in Linguistics at The University of British Columbia.
I have an M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a B.A. in Linguistics from the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) in Mexico City.
Since 2016, I've been working with Spanish and San Pablo Güilá Zapotec, an Otomanguean language spoken in Oaxaca, Mexico. In my M.A. thesis, I investigated the relationship between definiteness and quantification in noun phrases in Spanish and San Pablo Güilá Zapotec.
