Research Themes:  The Communicating Mind and Body

I am interested in how school-age children use spoken/signed language and these relationships with reading and writing. I am involved in a number of projects related to the evaluation of language and literacy abilities with populations that include children who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing, children who are multi-lingual, and children with language/learning exceptionalities.
