Research Themes:  Language, Sustainability and Transnationalism

Michelle Gilman is a PhD student in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, UBC, under the supervision of Dr. Bonny Norton. Michelle is researching how to best use Storybooks Canada in classroom settings using the new BC curriculum as well as best uses for parents. Her research interests include improving reading fluency and digital literacies.
