Research Themes: Evolving Language in an Information Economy
Susan Atkey is a Humanities and Social Sciences Librarian at UBC Library, working with several departments affiliated with Language Sciences, including the Departments of Linguistics, Anthropology, French, Hispanic and Italian Studies, and Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies.
She has a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from the iSchool at The University of British Columbia and a MA in Linguistics from the University of Calgary where she focused on the second language acquisition of phonology.
