Lorienne Jenstad is an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia’s School of Audiology and Speech Science. She received her Master’s degree in audiology from the University of Western Ontario in 1996, after which she worked for 5 years conducting clinical research on hearing aids. Subsequently, she went to Seattle, Washington for her doctoral studies in Audiology, before returning to Vancouver in 2005. Her teaching and research interests include hearing aids, speech acoustics, speech perception, and hearing health care for older adults.
