Research Themes: The Communicating Mind and Body
Dr. Sladen’s research is focused on cochlear implantation among children and adults. Specifically, his work examines outcomes in speech perception, localization, and overall quality of life. Most recently he has been examining outcomes among children and adults with single-sided deafness who have cochlear implants within a virtual reality test environment.
