Carrie Jenkins is Professor of Philosophy at UBC, and Principal Investigator on the multi-year SSHRC-funded research project “The Nature of Love.” She has a career-long interest in the philosophy of language, and has recently been trying to understand what is going on in “merely verbal” disputes. Her current research includes interdisciplinary collaborations with poets and social scientists.
