Research Themes: Language, Sustainability and Transnationalism
Ranka Minic - Vidovic holds a PhD in Hispanic Studies from the University of British Columbia. She arrived at the University of Regina in 2003, where she is Associate Professor in the Department of International Languages and teaches a variety of courses on Spanish language, literature, and culture. She previously taught in the Department of French, Italian and Hispanic Studies at UBC.
She has served on the executive of the Canadian Association of Hispanists and as a Co-ordinator of the Spanish program at the University of Regina.
Dr Minic – Vidovic’s publications reflect her research interests in Medieval and Early Modern Spanish literature, especially the chivalric and sentimental novels, and translation.
