Jenny Thomson is a Reader in Language & Literacy within the Division of Human Communication Sciences at the University of Sheffield, UK and Visiting Associate Professor at the Norwegian National Reading Center, University of Stavanger, Norway.
Previous to this she was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge, UK, and Harvard Graduate School of Education, USA, as well as holding Assistant and Associate Professor posts at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Research Interests: Learning to read in a digital world - the impact on both typically developing children, as well as those who struggle to learn to read and spell.
