Alex Ross is a PhD student of TESL in the Department of Language and Literacy Education. She holds a master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies from Carleton University and is a TESL Ontario certified English language instructor for adults. Alex has several years of experience teaching English as an additional language, both in Canada and abroad. Broadly speaking, her research interests include the role of multilingualism in English language teaching and assessment practices. Her research is studied in Canadian community-based language programs for adults.
