Due to current conditions with the COVID-19 outbreak, Language Sciences has postponed the Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Fellow Research Day.
Registration remains open - please stay tuned for a new date!
If you have questions or concerns about the Research Day, please contact Language Sciences Coordinator Ella Fund-Reznicek at 604-822-7435 or language.sciences@ubc.ca.
The theme for this Research Day is Encodings: Language, Data, and Knowledge, reflecting these diverse perspectives and approaches to language research.
UBC Language Sciences is a community of scholars who research, teach, and learn about the science of language across disciplines. Language scientists work in the field with native speakers, text-mine social media, and scan the human brain. This conference will help attendees appreciate the many lenses of language research.
