Join us for another Language Sciences social this year! Come talk about your research with us! Our Fall Social is open to all Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows only. 

When and Where:

We will be hosting the social after hours on Thursday, September 19, 2024. The event is expected to begin at 5:30 pm and end by 7:00 pm. 

The social event will be held on-campus at the Dodson Room in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. Any additional details will be provided to registrants closer to the date. Please RSVP below! 

Format:

The Language Sciences Fall Social is an informal and high-energy networking event held in-person to encourage graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from various programs to speak with one another, ask questions, and learn about specific areas of research and practice within any field relating to Language (i.e., Computer Science; machine learning, Psychology; language acquisition, Linguistics; speech sciences, Education; language & literacy, etc.). 

We hope to provide you with an opportunity to meet people outside of your regular circles to engage in interesting conversations and receive feedback on your current or back-burner projects. You are welcome to offer your advice or support to others who may need your expertise! Free dinner and refreshments will be provided.
