LLINK: Literacy & Libraries: Investigating New Knowledges - Playfulness in K-12: Connecting Research to Practice

This event is the first in a series dedicated to connecting literacy research to practice in K-12 classrooms and school libraries. LLED graduate students, practicing teachers, scholars, and school librarians will discuss the significance of playfulness “in the gaps”; playful subversion towards self-making; playful pedagogy; playing with/in discomfort; and literacy play as ‘pushback’ against deficit perspectives.
