Language Sciences "Speed" Social

Meet and network with those in similar research areas and possibly spark collaborations. The Language Sciences 'Speed-Dating' Social is a facilitated, informal, and high-energy social activity to encourage a group of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to speak with one another, ask questions, and learn about specific areas of research and practice within their fields relating to Language. Free food and refreshments will be provided.
The event is open to all graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and will be hosted on Thursday, April 20th, after-hours from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
Event Setup:
- Each student will be designated to another student for 5 minutes at a time
- When the buzzer rings, the group of students simply rotates to pair up with the next student, and so on until the end of the session
- You will be provided with the option to use our prompts for discussions
Registration for this event is required as dinner will be provided for attendees and numbers are needed for catering. Please RSVP using the button below.
