Sheri Choi is a PhD student in the department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Janet Werker at the Infant Studies Center. She studies foundations for speech perception, focusing on the nature of multisensory representation of speech in young infants, and how speech perception models based on cortical computational principles extends to acquisition of speech.
