Research Themes: The Communicating Mind and Body
Christopher Mole is a Professor in the UBC Department of Philosophy. Much of his teaching is for the university’s programme in Cognitive Systems. His research is concerned with those aspects of language and the mind that prove recalcitrant to scientific explanation. One strand of this research is concerned with how best to characterize competence in signed languages (especially BSL and ASL). Students interested in pursing research in this or related topics should feel free to email him.
